Registration Process
When enrolling a new student follow the steps below to ensure a smooth transition.
Step 1: Complete the registration packets found below
Step 2: Make an appointment to complete registration by contacting Katy Stoddard at:

Step 3: Bring the completed registration packet and additional documentation listed below to the appointment.
All registration appointments are conducted at the District Administration Office located at the Wyalusing Valley Elementary School or through a virtual means during the school closure.
New Student Enrollment Requirements
To enroll in at the Wyalusing Area School District a new student must be:
- Be a resident of the Wyalusing Area School District (proof of residency is required)
- Immunization schedule to meet Pennsylvania’s requirements
- Original state-issued birth certificate
- Proof of Guardianship: Legal custody agreement, if applicable, copy to be placed in the student’s file.
24 PS 13‐1302 Affidavit By Non‐Parent Caregiver For School Enrollment
This process is only used for extremely rare and unique circumstances when a non-resident child of school age resides with a district resident, provided that the student lives full-time and not just for the school year with district resident(s) who, without receiving compensation, have assumed legal dependency/guardianship or full residential support of the student. The form below is required for this process.
